Ode to Xena
Xena, she of coal black hair
Her beauty tis beyond compare
With ebon tresses 'round her head
Visage of seraphs, this one be wed
Her steely voice so clear and free
Inspires the warrior in me.
Though I be of bardly frame
Ardent doth become my name.
Fair aspect of Venus inspires
Untold depths of my desires.
And so I write as a bard may do
Wishing my words doth love imbue.
